Halloween-Challenges

Es ist Oktober, Halloween naht und natürlich ist das auch das bevorzugte Challenge-Thema derzeit.

It's october, Halloween is near and of course it is the favourite challenge-theme this time.

Ich hab zur Abwechslung mal keine quadratische Karte gemacht und einiges von meiner Messe-Beute benutzt. Als Motiv hab ich die Hexen-Maya ausgewählt, die ich auf der Messe erstanden hab.

This time I made no square card and used some of my trade fair goods. As motive I choose the witch maya that I bought at the trade fair.

Die Papiere hab ich ebenfalls auf der Messe gekauft, sie sind von DCWV, Carta Bella und Creative Imagination. Dazu noch Blumen von Wild Orchid Crafts und Prima Marketing, Charms von Whiff of Joy, kleine Brads von Stampin' up! und mit Copics eingefärbtes Band und Halbperlen sowie ein Ticket-Stempel von Tim Holtz - fertig ist das Kärtchen.

I bought the paper at the fair too, they are from DCWV, Carta Bella and Creative Imagination. Combined with flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and Prima Marketing, charms from Whiff of Joy, little brads from Stampin' up! and copic-coloured ribbon and flatback pearls plus a ticket stamp from Tim Holtz and the card is finished.

Schönen guten Abend!

Eine Freundin hat mich gebeten, für eine ihrer Freundinnen eine Geburtstagskarte zu machen - natürlich hab ich zugesagt. :)

Good evening!

A friend of mine asked me to make a birthday card for a friend of her - and of course I said yes. :)

 

Ich hab als Motiv den süßen Ruderbär von Lily of the Valley gewählt und in Sachen Deko konnte ich mich mal wieder so richtig austoben - die Blümchen und die große Halbperle sind von Wild Orchid Crafts, die Charms und der Pin von Whiff of Joy, die Halbperlen von T€di, die Spitze von NanuNana und die Sterne und Mini-Silberhalbperlen sind eigentlich Nagelschmuck. Die Papiere sind von My Mind's Eye und Teresa Collins und der Textstempel von stampin' up!.

I chose the sweet bobbing bear from Lily of the Valley and could run riot with decoration. The flowers and the big flatback pearl are from Wild Orchid Crafts, charms and pin are from Whiff of Joy, the flatback pearls from T€di, lace from NanuNana and the metal decorations are meant to be nail art-decoration. The papers are from My Mind's Eye and Teresa Collins and the sentiment stamp is from stampin' up!.

Ich hatte viel Spaß dabei, diese Karte zu machen und bin mit dem Ergebnis sehr zufrieden! :)

I had a lot of fun by making this card and am very pleased with the result! :)

Hallo an diesem diesigen Frühherbsttag!

Hello on this hazy autumnal day!

Bei Copic Marker Deutschland gibt es seit neuestem auch Challenges und die erste hat das Thema "Liebste Copic-Farbgruppe". Meinen Beitrag dazu gibt's heute zu sehen.

Ich hab lange überlegt, ob ich überhaupt teilnehmen soll, immerhin bin ich ja noch sehr neu auf dem Gebiet der Copics und benutze sie erst seit knapp einem Monat. Aber dann dachte ich, warum nicht? Jeder hat irgendwann mal angefangen und ich finde meine Colorationen gemessen an meinen Erfahrungen wirklich gut! :)

Copic Marker Germany has Challenges as of late and the first has the theme "favourite Copic colour-group". I'll show you my entry today.

I conserided long taking the challenge, in fact I'm really a newbie in using Copics, I use them since nearly a month. But then I thougt why not? Everyone has begun somewhen and measured by my experience I like my colorings pretty much! :)

Ich hab mich für die Farbgruppe "E" entschieden - davon hab ich im Moment zweifellos die meisten Stifte. ;)

Zu den Brauntönen passt dieses Motiv natürlich perfekt - ist es nicht atemberaubend? Es ist ein Digi von JadeDragonne, zu finden auf deviantART.

Damit der Fokus wirklich auf dem Motiv liegt, hab ich mich für ein dezentes Drumherum entschieden und die Deko auf einen Punkt konzentriert. Die Papiere von Tim Holtz und Teresa Collins sind eher schlicht und unauffällig, als Gegenspot zum Motiv hab ich etwas Satinband mit Blumen von Wild Orchid Crafts und Prima, einem Pin von WoJ, einem großen Brad von Stampin' up! und diversem anderen Tüddelkram arrangiert.

Der Textstempel ist von Whiff of Joy.

I chose the colour-group "E" - from this group I actually have the most markers. ;)

The motive is perfect to be used with this colours - isn't it breathtaking? It's a digi from JadeDragonne, you can found her artwork on deviantART.

I wanted to have the focus on the motive, so I chose discreet materials around and concentrated decoration on one point. The papers from Tim Holtz and Teresa Collins are simple and understated and as contrary spot I arranged some satin tie with flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and Prima, a pin from Whiff of Joy, a big brad from Stampin' up! and other bits and pieces.

The sentiment is from Whiff of Joy.

Mit der Coloration bin ich sehr zufrieden - aber gut, ich hab auch fast fünf Stunden dafür gebraucht... :$

Beim "Himmel" hab ich experimentier, ist zwar ausbaufähig, aber gar nicht mal so schlecht finde ich.

WoJ-Challenge #162

Zum Blog-Einstand möchte ich euch meinen Beitrag zur WoJ-Challenge #162 zeigen - die ist zwar schon vorbei (ich hab noch ohne Blog daran teilgenommen), aber nachdem diese Challenge-Teilnahme sehr erfolgreich für mich war zeige ich euch mein Kärtchen trotzdem!

As start of my new blog I want to show you my entry for the WoJ-Challenge #162 - it's over indeed (I joined it without having a blog) but my participation was really successful so I show it to you anyway!

Ich hab' die süsse Maya beim Fliegenpilze sammeln verarbeitet und sie zusammen mit Papieren von Tim Holtz und Authentique, Enamel Dots und Word Stickers von My Mind's Eye, Flowers von Wild Orchid Crafts und sonstigem Tüddelkram auf eine Karte gepackt.

I used the cute little Maya collecting toadstools and put her on a card with paper from Tim Holtz and Authentique, enamel dots and word stickers from My Mind's Eye, flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and other odds and ends.

Die Coloration ist meine siebte Copic-Coloration gewesen, ich hab erst vor kurzem (drei Wochen sind es mittlerweile glaub' ich) von Aquarellstiften zu Copics gewechselt - dafür ist es doch recht gut, oder? ;)

The coloring is my seventh Copic-coloring, it's not long ago (three weeks I think) that I changed from watercolour crayons to Copics - for this it's not that bad, is it? ;)

Und das gleich doppelt, ich hab nämlich sowohl den Gutschein von Live and Love Crafts gewonnen als auch einen Platz unter den Top drei! Ich kann es immer noch nicht glauben, ich freu mich tierisch!

But now I disclose what I foretold in the beginning - why my participation was that successful for me: I won!

I made a double win, I won both, the gift certificate from Live and Love Crafts and a place under the top 3! I still can't believe it, I'm so happy about it!
